Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort

Hilton Waikoloa Village

The Hilton Waikoloa Village is a favorite with the kid-set because they can get around its 62 acres by monorail or boat. Kids will also like the 175-foot water slide, lazy river, giant swimming pool plus smaller pools, and a four-acre lagoon where a lucky few (drawn by lottery) can experience an encounter with dolphins.

Kids Camp Menehune for ages 5 to 12 offers crafts, games and water activities with daily themes (Polynesian Pirates, Ocean Explorers...) and a 3:30 p.m. drop-by activity. Full day $65, half-day $50; the drop-by activity is complimentary.

Check both websites for Packages and Specials-- even upscale resorts know that their guests like an occasional price break.

This brief profile is meant to introduce this resort to family vacationers; please note that the writer has not visited in person. Always check resort sites for updates.
