The Grand Harbor Resort is part of the Port of Dubuque complex on the Mississippi River in Dubuque, Iowa. Also at the Port of Dubuque are the National Mississippi Museum and Aquarium, the Grand River Center, Mississippi Riverwalk, and more.
The Grand Harbor is following a trend in attracting family vacationers by offering its own waterpark. (Note, however, that entrance isn't limited to resort guests; the public can buy admission, too.)
Warm Winter Escape: until March 11 2004, book online and save $20. Saturdays and holidays excluded. Rooms are as low as $89/night; get free admission to the waterpark, and $10 food credit.
Winter Ski Packages for a family of four include deluxe room, breakfast for each guest, waterpark tickets for each guest; purchase lift tickets at the hotel. Price starts at $169, for Saturday only, $293 for Friday and Saturday.
