Breezes Curacao - beach
Where is Breezes Curacao Resort?

The island of Curacao is a 2-1/2 hour flight from Miami, in the "Dutch Caribbean" along with Aruba and Bonaire (and out of the hurricane zone).

Breezes Curacao Resort Spa & Casino is a 15-minute ride from the wonderful town of Willemstad: picture an Amsterdam canal street painted with your kids' crayolas; no wonder the place is a UN World Heritage site.

What's special about Breezes Curacao for families?

  • a long, 1500-foot stretch of sheltered beach, good for kayaking and beginner wind-surfing. Young kids can snorkel inside the breakwater; teens and grown-ups can take an escorted snorkel outing on the far side.
  • daily scuba shore-dive is part of the resort's all-inclusive price. Kids as young as 12 can take a morning's instruction and then dive daily.
  • Land fun includes trapeze, a rock-climbing wall, and "ice-skating".
  • daily schedule includes bike trips, beach volleyball, lessons in papiamentu (local language), trampoline and juggling clinics, trapeze lessons, nightly entertainment.
  • kids' club, playground, kiddie pool.

Kids' Zone: at Breezes Curacao, families stay in a special section of the resort, near kiddie pool, snack bar, and playground, and Kids' Club. Activities at the Kids' Club include pool party games, mini circus clinics, arts and crafts. Kids can have dinner at the Carousel Grill and be entertained until 9 p.m. The resort has a small teen center too.

Keep in mind about Breezes Curacao:

  • read recent visitors' comments; at times, comments have noted certain rough spots, but still "good value for the money" applies
