Teresa Plowright is a writer and veteran traveler with three children, and has been the Guide for About.com's Family Vacations topic for over ten years.

Teresa has traveled with her family around the globe, starting with a trip to Nepal while pregnant. She's a veteran of 20-hour plane trips, car trips with toddlers, and theme park line-ups with three kids; and, for the Family Vacations topic, has traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, Italy, and other great destinations. She's also written family travel articles for publications such as FamilyFun Magazine.

Teresa has a master's degree in communications from McGill University, and a bachelor's degree in English from the University of British Columbia.
