Family Vacations in Europe: Get Wheels

Thursday August 23, 2007
Italian hill town- Todi There are so many ways to travel in Europe with kids: you can visit great cities, take "family adventure" escorted tours, join European families at resort-like holiday villages, stay in real-life castles, explore medieval hill towns in Tuscany...

With many of these choices, a question looms: how do we get around?

One terrific option is to "lease" a vehicle from French car-makers Renault or Peugot: both have a program, for foreign visitors only, for "short-term" leases of new cars (for a minimum of 17 days.) Rates are competitive, insurance is zero-deductible, pickup can be arranged from many cities, even London, or Rome airport.
