Three hours from NYC, "Chocolate Town USA" has several attractions, most notably Hersheypark theme park, which opens in May.

Before then, however, you can preview the summer fun during a weekend in April: Springtime in the Park opens the gates for April 14, 15, and 16 2006. Select rides are running, on a "pay-as-you-go" basis.

Also: have a look out some seasonal packages at Hershey, from January to early April. For example, Family Fun Package runs January 1 through April 13, 2006.
