Two new bargains are on offer at all-inclusive Franklyn D. Resort and FDR Pebbles, where "inclusive" means a friendly vacation nanny for each family: Grandparents stay free; and Mom gets a big break on airfare.

Book by Nov. 31 2003, for travel from now until April 4th 2004: Moms receive US$350 toward airfare when traveling to either Resort for a minimum 5 night stay. (Some blackout dates.)

The “Wings for Mom” promotion works in conjunction with the “Kids Plus Packages”: at Franklyn D. Resort, the Kids Plus Package includes free golf , a complimentary half hour massage, and a t-shirt, coffee and a bottle of rum to take home in addition to the regular all-inclusive features. Rates start at US$180 per adult per night and from US$30 per child 6-16. Kids under 6 are free.

At FDR Pebbles, with the Kids Plus Package adults receive a complimentary half hour massage and t-shirt, coffee and a bottle of rum to take home in addition to the regular all-inclusive features. Rates start from US$145 per adult per night and from US$20 per child 6-16. Kids under 6 are free.

• Bring Your Own Grandparents

The BYOG deal runs from January 3rd, 2004 to February 12th, 2004 (last departure date): grandparents stay free at the Resorts when with their children and grandchildren, and the entire family receives an automatic upgrade to a larger suite. At Franklyn D. Resort -- where suites are huge-- the upgrade is to a 2 Bedroom Suite; and at FDR Pebbles, the upgrade will be an adjoining Junior Suite. Grandparents must share the suite with their family and there's a limit of one grandparent per paying adult.

This is the 9th year for this BYOG deal at FDR, first year at FDR Pebbles. The BYOG promotion works in conjunction with the “Kids Plus Packages” at the Resorts-- see above. In January, at FDR rates start at $220 per adult per night, and $50 per child 6-16, and kids under 6 are free; at FDR Pebbles, rates start at $160/adult/night, and $30 per child 6-16; kids under 6 are free.

• Single Parent Price Break

This annual deal extends until Dec. 19 2003: “We recognize the financial burden that single parents face and our waiving of our single supplement plus the Vacation Nanny assigned to each family at both Resorts offer an ideal combination for single parents who want to vacation this Summer”, states Director of Sales, Ms. Marjorie Cunningham. Single parent travelers normally pay a "single supplement" because hotels usually calculate room rates based on two paying adults; so when a resort gets rid of the single supplement, that's good news.
