Former Beaches Sandy Bay All-Inclusive Will Be Karisma Resort

Up until late fall last year, the well-known Beaches brand of family all-inclusive resorts had a "value" option on Jamaica's Negril Beach: Beaches Sandy Bay was a smaller resort than the better-known properties, but still offered kids programs and signature Sesame Street activities, and furthermore families staying at Beaches Sandy Bay had guest privileges at the nearby Beaches Negril resort.

As of November 1 2012, this is no longer a Beaches Resort. It reopened December 1st as the Seashore Bay Beach Resort, operated by the Karisma brand. Over time, "The resort eventually will undergo a renovation to upgrade it to Karisma's signature Gourmet Inclusive standards, and it will be rebranded as an Azul resort" (-- source, Travel Weekly.
