Montreal: Magic of Lanterns Plus Halloween Fun

Families visiting in October can also enjoy some special events at the Botanical Gardens: the annual "Magic of Lanterns" features colorful displays of lit boats and figures in its Chinese Garden area. Halloween activities are offered too at the Gardens, and the location is easily reached by subway.
