Photo © Teresa Plowright.Visitors to Orlando have long been able to combine a trip to Disney World with a Disney cruise; but family vacationers may not be aware of another land'n'sea vacation, combining a visit to the Universal Orlando theme parks with a Royal Caribbean cruise.

This combo vacation offers cruise options from 3 to 7 nights in the Bahamas or the Western or Eastern Caribbean, plus 3 or 4-day park admission to both theme parks at Universal Orlando. Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are conveniently located side by side; teens love the thrill coasters at these theme parks but there's plenty for younger kids as well, such as Seuss Landing, Shrek 4D, and E.T. Adventure. Islands of Adventure is also home to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests who stay at one of the three excellent resorts at Universal Orlando get fast-track access to many popular rides, plus early admission to the Wizarding World.
