Guest writer Tony Conboy III visited with his daughter and found much to like, including a side effect of the Ranch's remote location: without cell service, or even phones or tv's in the lodge, teens do actually "rediscover the lost art of conversation with parents".
This is a working cattle ranch, but its 15,000 acres are home to other critters too: hawks, antelope, deer, marmot, and other wildlife were spotted on the ATV tour. The ranch also has plenty of creature comforts: gourmet food, handy supplies of ice-cold drinks, convenient loaner gear (even cowboy boots) -- all included in the rates. You will pay extra for massage treatments in the Teepee, though.
