Paradise Island is best known as the location of the legendary Atlantis mega-resort,
a place famous for its larger-than-life design, its casino, and a marina with yachts of a size to make jaws drop -- yet the Atlantis is also a very family-friendly place. Families will find "Gentle Travel" amenities for babies, a large kiddie pool, a water-play zone for little kids, and an 8000 sq. ft kids club designed with the LEGO company. Then there's also the 140-acre Aquaventure waterpark with amazing water slides and lazy river, and the clubs for teens and tweens...
This summer, kids can enroll in special camps at the kids club: for example, kids can learn animation at a Cartoon Network Studios Fantasy Camp, and can help feed the marine life at the resort as part of the Marine Adventure Camp.
Also this summer, the adjacent Comfort Suites Paradise Island has a "Kids Stay, Play, and Eat Free" package that includes three meals daily for kids under 12 at several nearby restaurants. (The thing to note about this property is that guests have access to all Atlantis facilities including the Aquaventure waterpark.) Read about this and other promotions at the Nassau Paradise Island website.
