Every week I receive many bits and pieces of family travel news, and here are a few that stood out recently:
- Here's a neat idea, for family fun: the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival happens July 6 to 15 2012, featuring selected performers from around the globe. The event has over 1,500 outdoor performances and the talent includes magicians, stilt walkers, clowns, dancers, and tight rope walkers. Meanwhile, a Kid's World section has hands-on activities.
- Meanwhile, there's some extra fun at Colonial Williamsburg this summer: RevQuest: The Lion and the Unicorn, is an text-message based spy adventure, in which players navigate online and through the actual streets, protecting the identity of a patriot spy. Read more about Revquest, and about Colonial Williamsburg as a great destination for families.
