Resort vacations are a popular type of getaway, and busy parents who want to relax and deal only with minimal logistics would probably agree that the more fun that's offered right on the property, the better.

In the last few years, resorts have been enticing families with bigger and more elaborate pool complexes: kiddie pools, connecting pools, pools with caves and waterfalls... Some even add water park features such as waterplay zones, giant waterslides, and lazy rivers.
