Spring Break Beaches Without Passports

Trunk Bay, US Virgin islands. Photo © Teresa Plowright. If you're dreaming of tropical beaches for Spring Break, but not everyone in the family has a passport, consider the US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico in the Caribbean: they're U.S. territories and no passport is required for U.S. citizens. (Trunk Bay, above, is part of the Virgin Islands National Park.) The other wonderful option for U.S. citizens without passports is of course Hawaii. Disney's new Hawaii resort on Oahu -- Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa -- has amazing features and kids club. Or head to the Hilton Waikoloa Village's 65 acres on the Big Island, or the very different "garden isle" Kauai, or watch nightly hula at Maui's "most Hawaiian hotel".... Photo © Teresa Plowright.
