Don't be put off by the name: the Days of the Dead ("Dias de los Muertos") are a lively tradition in Mexico, and children's favorite time of year next to Christmas.
Yes, it seems a little strange to eat sugar-candy skulls, but no more so than the ghoulish fun we like at Halloween.
