AZUL - Mexico All Inclusive Resorts for Families

More resorts keep popping up, in the Mayan Riviera south of Cancun (a great area for exploring outside your resort, with Mayan ruins, coral reef, cenotes, and eco-theme parks.)

AZUL Hotels are the family brand of Karisma Hotels, which bills itself as "Gourmet Inclusive resorts". Two AZUL resorts opened near the small town of Puerto Morelos, just 20 minutes from the airport; a third is near busy Playa del Carmen.

Features include special attention to little kids: programs for under-fives, developed with Fisher-Price; complimentary gear for babies (in-room playpens, bottle warmers, strollers, etc.). The resorts also have the usual kids' club for ages four and up, 24-hour room service, and Beach Butlers.
