Chinese New Year: Year of the Ox

Another New Year's Eve is nearly here: January 25 2009 is the night before the Year of Ox begins, and over at About.com's China Travel site, Sara Naumann's blog highlights celebrations around the world: London, Los Angeles, Sydney, New York City...

So many cities have colorful parades, Lion Dances, and fireworks displays over several weeks. (Not to mention the incredible pyrotechnics in China, where fireworks were invented centuries ago.)
