Sometimes we just want to get away from it all: to relax, to embrace that true meaning of "vacation", which comes from a Latin root word "vacare" meaning "to be free, empty, to be at leisure". (See the similarity between "vacation" and "vacate"?) Other times we want to travel: to see new places, to explore new customs, food and languages.
