Great Fall Deal at Disney World

Thursday August 28, 2008
For families who aren't limited in their travels by the iron grip of the school season, Fall brings great bargains, and here's a new one from Disney World: a package that costs as low as $49 per person, per day. Book by Sept. 24, for travel dates through Dec. 23 2008.

Fall Package at Disney World - Book by Sept. 24th!

For travel on many dates between Sept. 28 and Dec. 23, 2008, a 5-night, 6-day Magic Your Way Package includes accommodations at select Disney resorts plus theme park tickets, based on two adults, one junior (ages 10-17) and one child (ages 3-9).

The sample $49/per person rate above is for packages at Disney's Value Resorts, which include the three All-Star Resorts and the Pop Century Resort: though lower-priced, these are fun places to stay with themed pools, food courts, and all the perks of staying at a Disney World Resort (such as use of the free Disney bus system.) Similar packages are available at select Disney's Moderate Resorts and Luxury Resorts as well.

Enjoy Seasonal Celebrations

Families can enjoy cooler weather during these months, and also can have fun at some special seasonal events and festivities. For ex: from Sept. 26 to Nov. 9 2008 the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from Sept. 26 to Nov. 9 2008.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party -- a special ticketed event, in the Magic Kingdom -- is offered on several nights in October: a great party, with trick-or-treating, kids' parade, special Halloween Parade and fireworks; also, an excellent way to ride your favorite attractions without line-ups or crowds.

Also during the time-frame of this promotion: Holiday Season decorations and some festivities start in early November. Fans of Disney World love these seasonal celebrations: Holidays Around the World and Candlelight Processional at Epcot, The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios, special parades, and more.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is another private party in Magic Kingdom that takes place on multiple nights, with special parade and fireworks, and a chance to visit this popular theme park with no crowds.(Both these seasonal Mickey's Parties take place on select dates and require a separate ticket not included in package price).

Details of this deal and available dates can be found online at Fantasic Fall Getaway at the Disney World site. You can book this Fall Package at www.disneyworld.com, or call 407/W-DISNEY (407/934-7639), or call your travel agent and ask for package code DGL.  | Disney World Overview  | Disney Christmas  |

Fall has just about everything going for it, weather, crowds, cost, events. The decorations, particularly around Christmas are fantastic. Avoid Thanksgiving week and the week around Christmas and you almost can’t miss. You occasionally have to watch out for hurricanes and the parks aren’t open quite as long, but for my money Fall’s THE time to go.
