Family Vacation Deal: Free Dining at Disney World
Back for a limited engagement: once again, guests staying at a Disney World Resort can buy a package that includes accommodation, theme park tickets, and a free Disney Dining Plan. Dates are from August 24 to September 20, 2008.
Think it's too expensive to stay on-property? Remember that Disney World has three types of resorts, Luxury, Moderate and Value; the Value Resorts can sleep four at a very reasonable price, and guests have all the perks of staying at a Disney World Resort.

What's the Dining Plan?
"Magic Your Way" packages to Disney World theme parks are sold with several options (-such as the popular "ParkHopper" option that lets you visit multiple parks on any day.)
The Dining Plan is an option available to guests staying at Disney World Resorts. Guests can choose from over 100 Disney restaurants located in the theme parks, at Disney World resorts, or in Downtown Disney. For each day, guests get one table-service meal (including entrée, dessert, non-alcoholic beverage), one snack, and one quick-service meal including entrée, non-alcoholic beverage and dessert. (See details.) Kids age 3 to 9 must choose from the children’s menu if available.
Free Dining Plan Deal
For most nights from August 24 to September 20, 2008, guests can purchase a special Magic Your Way Package that includes accommodations at a Disney Resort, a Magic Your Way Base ticket, and the Disney Dining Plan.
For example: a 5-night, 6-day Magic Your Way Package for a family of four could include accommodations at a Disney Value Resort, plus theme park tickets and free Disney Dining Plan for as little as US$1,354 (price based on 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child at select Disney Value Resorts in a standard room).
Other lengths of stay and resort categories are also available; package must be booked by June 22 2008.
And, bonus: guests can try the new Toy Story Mania! attraction opening during the summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park (formerly Disney-MGM Studios.)
Some fine print: the number of packages at this rate is limited; sample package above has tickets for only one Theme Park per day; tickets and must be used within 14 days of first use; no group rates or other discounts apply. Guests can book through www.disneyworld.ca/offer, or call 407-WDW-STAR (407-939-7827) or their Travel Agent, and ask for package code CMU.
And one caution: during the Free Dining promotion, you may find that restaurants get sold out. Use Advance Dining Reservations, the earlier the better!
Disney World's Value Resorts
The four Value Resorts are: Disney's All-Star Music Resort, All-Star Movies Resort, All-Star Sports Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resorts.
Guests at all Disney Resorts get some nice perks:
- ‘Extra Magic Hours’: each day, one of the theme parks opens one hour early and/or stays open 3 hours late, exclusively for guests at Disney Resorts
- ‘Disney’s Magical Express’: complimentary round-trip motor coach transportation and luggage delivery service from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel. (Book this service at least 10 days in advance).
- complimentary buses throughout Walt Disney World
- parcel delivery from theme park shops to your Resort
- assured entrance to the theme parks on busy days

I know that you indicated the June deadline for the free dining package. My husband, son, and I have been trying to schedule a family trip to Disney World for the past two years; however, our son is in graduate school and has been working nonstop for the past two years. I just retired after 37 years of teaching, and we just found a small block of time to take a trip. (Sept. 11-15) We have found a pretty good deal at the Beach Club, but it would be amazing to also receive the dining package. Is there any chance of getting that deal?

I just got back from Disney last week and had this package, however, an appetizer is not included with your table service and you are responsible for the gratuity as well. The information you provided was for the 2007 package.
