How'd you like that, for a job description? A resort in Hawaii's just created this position, as part of a mission to please families big-time. (In case you haven't noticed, pleasing families is the mission of more and more resorts: nice timing, nice trend, for those of us with kids.)

The Sheraton Keauhou resort is built on lava on the Kona Coast of the Big Island, and has a splashy pool complex plus shoreline where manta rays feed at night.

So what does a Director of Fun do? Dive-in movies, stargazing (including stars and navigation in Hawaiian culture), fireside Olelo (Hawaiian story- telling), for starters.
