Legoland California has its annual Brick-or-Treat celebration on four weekends in October, with many festivities plus hundreds of themed models. Legoland is designed for ages two to twelve, so events are more "trick-or-treat" than terrifying!
Halloween at Legoland California
This 128-acre family theme park in Carlsbad California has both daytime and night-time activities this year; dates are the weekends of October 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28, 2007. Highlights include:
- daily Brick-or-Treat Trail, where kids 12 and under can trick-or-treat with a free souvenir bag. Goodies include Wonka candy and collectible LEGO bricks. Cul-de-sac has spooky themed areas.
- dailly costume contests
- costume contest each day of Brick-or-Treat: Most Lego-themed, Spookiest, Funniest, etc.
- themed Lego models in the park
- Brick-or-Treat After Dark, on October 13, 20 and 27, with rides, shows, attractions, and special activities such as Lego Candy Corn Scavenger Hunt, LEGO brick pumpkin build, nighttime costume contest. Park areas are open until 8 p.m. including Castle Hill, the Imagination Zone, Miniland U.S.A.
- Both Brick-or-Treat events are included in regular admission price; alternatively, guests can attend only Brick-or-Treat After Dark with a separate ticket ($15). Brick-or-Treat After Dark is free for LEGOLAND Members.
