Thanksgiving 2006
Thursday September 21, 2006
Thanksgiving in the US is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, which makes the date to remember Thursday November 23rd, this year. Thanksgiving turkey dinner is of course the big event of the weekend for families; but Thanksgiving also marks the start of the "Holiday Season". This makes for extra fun at family destinations: Christmas decorations go up at the Disney parks, for example; and family-friendly resorts usually schedule a tree-lighting or Santa preview appearance, at the end of their Thanksgiving weekend festivities.
