Famiy Travel news: Beaches Turks new waterpark

Beaches is the family brand of the Sandals all-inclusives: and a popular brand it is. Beaches Turks and & Caicos is often fully booked even in summer.

Guests like the white-sand beach and turquoise sea with coral reef; nursery, kids programs, and Pirate's Island with pirate ship and water slides; and partnership with Sesame Street, which brings Cookie Monster and pals on-site.

Watersports include the usual plus scuba (ages 12 and up). Add in five pools, nine restaurants, European spa and Butler service...

And now a $100M upgrade: 168 new family suites, and new water park with giant pool. All this is coming in '07. Til then, you'll have to make do with all the above.

The Turks and Caicos islands, by the way, are between Florida and Puerto Rico; flight time can be as little as 1 hour.
