More for kids at The Atlantis

This seems to be the month for this unique mega-resort to woo families. Just weeks ago, The Atlantis announced Gentle Travel services for families traveling with babies. And now come new Kids Club programs, plus new water attractions for the pint-sized set.

The Atlantis is of course that one-of-a-kind place in the Bahamas, with shark lagoons, lazy river, jaw-dropping waterslides, subterranean giant aquariums, spa, casino, and Marina with shops and restaurants.

The Atlantis Bahamas: New For Kids - Water Play Zone and Kids Programs

New Water Fun for Kids
Next to the Mayan Temple waterslides (for the bigger and braver), kids 48" and under can now go wild in a new Splashers water play area and pool, with spiral body slides and a kiddie version of the Challenger racer slides, plus cargo nets, rope bridges, water cannons, fountains, and a 320-gallon dumping bucket. Parents can play in this zone, too, except for the slides.

New Atlantis Kids Club activity program

Kids 3 to 5 can join "Morning Escape": they might stage a Junkanoo parade, learn how to play an instrument, or visit the resort’s Fish Hospital.

Kids 6 to 12 can try Discovery Kids Adventure, designed in conjunction with The Discovery Channel: for ex., they might explore Atlantean hieroglyphics in the Atlantis' unique subterannean zone, The Dig.

And a new Evening Escape runs nightly from 6 to 10 p.m., with movies, games, dancing, for ages 3 to 12, at the Atlantis Kids Club.

The year-round Kids Club has a large clubhouse with computers, microscopes, touch tanks, toys, books, and puzzles. Meanwhile, Club Rush is a no-adults private club for teens and tweens.
