Paris + luxury hotel + treasure hunt

Wednesday May 10, 2006
Paris is magnifique with kids: The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral (home of contemplative Gargoyle, right), the Louvre... or simply strolling, or strollering, along the Seine.

But where to stay? Well, if your budget is, um, substantial, you could treat your family to a deluxe experience at the five-star, centuries-old Le Meurice, near the Louvre: with adjoining rooms, Pistache le Chien plush doggy mascot (chien=dog), gift for kids, and a hotel treasure hunt.

Family Fun at Prestigious Le Meurice, Paris

If you'd like to spoil your family in Paris this summer, to the tune of 1270 Euros per night, family program at Le Meurice Hotel includes:

• Two connecting double rooms

  • buffet breakfast for two adults and two children
  • hotel treasure hunt for children with prizes
  • •two children’s tickets for a carousel ride in the Tuileries
  • use of custom-made toy wooden boats to sail in the boat pond in the Tuileries (across the street from hotel)
  • plush toy canine hotel mascot, Pistache
  • bathrobe and slippers in children’s sizes
  • sweets, cartoon videos, a puzzle, colored pencils, and special kids’ menu in the children’s room
  • flowers and petit-fours in the parents’ room
  • More about that treasure hunt: "the entire hotel, from the general manager to housekeeping, joins in the fun for the children’s program at Le Meurice. While the kids are happily engaged searching for treasure, parents are treated to petit-fours in the room and full use of the hotel’s newly decorated Caudalie L’Espace Bein-Etre spa."

Le Meurice is part of the Dorchester Group of hotels.
