Spring Break

Wednesday February 15, 2006
Spring Break is on the horizon: typically a ten-day school holiday in mid-March to mid-April; and fortunately, dates vary in different school districts so that not everyone is lining up, the same week, at Disney World.

Orlando is the top spot for Spring Break family vacations, and in 2006 -- in addition to the theme parks-- families can check out the first annual Orlando World's Fair for Kids, April 15 - 23 2006, filling 1M sq. ft. with themed pavilions, interactive experiences, and live entertainment.

And if you want to see Mickey at the other side of the continent, a great Kids Fly Free to Disneyland promotion continues, with booking dates until mid-March, and flights extending into June...

Spring break is also High, High Season at all-inclusives in the Caribbean and Mexico: for many families in snowy climates this is the chance to escape the cold.

Other families want to embrace the snow. Spring skiing can be warm, sunny, and divine. See spring break skiing ideas
