Orlando: Holidays; Spring Break 2006
Thanksgiving is near, and while it's one of the most crowded times of year at Disney World, it does have bonuses: extended hours; extra parades; lovely holiday decorations. Or visit right after Thanksgiving, and can enjoy the decorations without the crowds. (See tips on visiting Disney World.) During the Holiday Season at Disney World the Magic Kingdom has Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party; Epcot has the Candlelight Processional (a retelling of the Christmas story, with choir and celebrity narrator), and Holidays Around the World; MGM-Studios has the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights.
Universal Studios, meanwhile, celebrates Grinchmas in Seuss Landing, and Macy's Holiday Parade every night. And for more in Orlando during the holidays, see About's Florida for Visitors site.
