"NickHotel" - Halloween & Holidays

Thursday October 6, 2005
Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn opened with many splashes on Memorial Day: an extreme fun spot in Orlando with two on-site waterparks, plus theming, pool games and entertainment by Nickelodeon.

Not surprisingly, extra fun is planned for Halloween, and for the Holiday Season. Click to read details about seasonal parades, parties, shows, and sliming.

Also, find out more -- and see photos -- about "Nick Hotel" in general. (Incidentally, "NickHotel" was just named the “Best Holiday Inn North America" -- not bad, for a newly-opened property.) continued below...

Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn: Halloween and Holiday Season

--This information has been provided by Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn--

It's the first Holiday Season for NickHotel-- (though this property had many years experience pleasing families in its previous incarnation as Holiday Inn Family Suites Resort.)

October: “Nick-or-Treat”: throughout October, this Nickelodeon version of trick-or-treat happens every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 6 pm; and also on Halloween night, too of course. Bring your own costume; the resort will have some costumes available for those who forget.

Costume Parade: every Saturday at 4:30 pm; and on Halloween night, Monday, Oct. 31 at 5:30 pm.

Halloween Dive-In Movie Nights: Friday evenings, grab a beach towel and watch a spooky flick at the pool (on lounge-chairs or in the water, take your pick.) If the weather's not so good, the movie moves inside.

Halloween-Themed Crafts: daily; particular crafts are subject to change.

Halloween Night: tentative schedule includes Costume Parade followed by Nick-or-Treat, Dance Party in Studio Nick, snacks in the Mall, and Halloween-themed movie. *Dates and times are subject to change.

“Nick for the Holidays”

No sooner is Halloween done than-- on Nov. 1-- the holidays season starts and continues through Jan. 8, celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa with holiday shows, dining and entertainment.

“SpongeBob’s Christmas Wish”: SpongeBob SquarePants discovers the magic of Christmas in this new interactive musical, in which guests “dive down” to Bikini Bottom to uncover the origins of the very first undersea Christmas. Lots of jokes and sing-alongs.

Holiday Flair: all the usual fun shows get a holiday flavor: for instance, the live shows in Studio Nick (a million state-of-the art theater.)

Santa Claus joins SpongeBob SquarePants throughout December, meeting kids each weekday evening.

Holiday Menus: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

New Year's Eve: The Official Last Sliming of 2005: two lucky guests get the last slime of the year, followed of course by The Official First Sliming of 2006.
