Family Vacation Ideas: Resorts with Waterparks

Tuesday June 21, 2005
Ever wondered: where's the World's largest indoor water park?

Well even if you haven't, the correct answer Miyazaki, Japan, which is a little far for most of us. But an impressive contendor is in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where five acres of indoor waves and slides console people in winter months and cool 'em off in summertime.

Water Wonderland is part of a mega-indoor playground with an amusement park, Deep Sea Adventure, Sea Lions' Rock family show, Ice Palace skating rink; glow-in-the-dark mini golf, bungee, and more. Stay in themed rooms at the Fantasyland Hotel.
