  • Camp Hyatt, for ages 3-12, aims to be an active educational type of camp with locally-relevant activities. A Camp Hyatt in Hawaii might offer surf lessons, lei making, etc. Visit www.camphyatt.com for details.
  • Certain Hyatt Resorts offer family programs. For example, the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa-- with 500 acres on a Native American reservation in New Mexico-- features "Family Experiences" with Native American bread baking, adobe brick making, horseback riding.
  • 10 Hyatt Resorts locations offer special family activities including S'mores Roasting and "Dive-In Movies" at the pool.

If anyone doesn't know about S'mores: first, roast marshmallows around a campfire; then smoosh 'em chocolate and graham crackers. At some locations, the S'mores are accompanied by star gazing, sing-alongs and storytelling.

As for Dive-In Movies: at sunset, kids and parents grab a float and head for the pool to watch a movie projected onto a screen or wall. Popcorn, pretzels, sodas are offered at some resorts.
