Happiest Celebration on Earth

Seems Disney always has something to celebrate, and May 5th marks the start of an 18-month bash in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the opening of Disneyland. The festivities, however, aren't confined to Anaheim. Disney World has major new attractions, drawn from Disneylands around the world; Disney Cruise Lines and Disneyland Tokyo and Paris are celebrating too; and Hong Kong Disneyland is due to open Sept. 12 2005.

50th Anniversary Celebration -- Highlights at Disney World

MAGIC KINGDOM:
"Cinderellabration" a new musical brings the top Disney Princesses (no, not your own little ones) together on stage for the coronation of Cinderella.

EPCOT:
A new attraction, "Soarin’", replicates a popular ride in the California Adventure park at Disneyland).

DISNEY-MGM STUDIOS
a new "Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show" recreates a popular attraction at Disneyland® Paris.

ANIMAL KINGDOM:
for the first three months of the celebration, Lucky the (free-moving Audio-Animatronics®) Dinosaur --from Disney's California Adventure-- will be in residence.
