Winter Vacation Packages at B&B's and Country Inns

Chittenden, Vermont: Mountain Top Inn & Resort
The Winter Family Wonderland package offers snow fun at 28% savings. Three-night package includes unlimited use of the resort’s sledding, ice skating, fitness and game-room facilities. A sleigh ride pulled by a team of Clydesdales or Percherons and a Kids Goodie Pack is also included, along with hearty Vermont breakfasts each morning. Also: cross-country ski and snowshoe passes on 85 km. of groomed trails at the Resort’s Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Center.

Offered through March 31 2005, (excluding Feb. vacation week), accommodations include either a superior lodge room or a pet-friendly one-bedroom cottage – both offering a queen or king and pullout bed for $745 triple occupancy (family of three) including taxes, dining room gratuities and service fees. Salem, MA: Salem Inn
Learn about the witchcraft trials of 1692, and see the Salem museums. Package includes two nights in a spacious family suite, with a fully-equipped kitchenette and private bath; continental breakfast each morning; and gift certificate to Salem's Engine House Pizza.

Wilmot, NH: Take It For Granite Farm B&B
You'll get lift ticket discounts at family-friendly Ragged Mountain with a two-day stay, plus sledding, boarding or snowshoeing at the farm; or try skating at a nearby pond. Three large suites suit families.

Fleischmanns, NY: River Run B&B
Kids twelve and under stay free at River Run B&B, and ski for free at Belleayre Mountain Ski Center, two miles away. (I.e., for each full-price adult lift ticket purchased ($44), kids twelve and under ski free.) B&B double rates range from $85-185 per night. Newport, KY: Christopher's B&B
Select the "Newport Aquarium Package", and you’ll visit more than 60 exhibits including specially-designed underwater tunnels where you’ll be diving with the sharks through a colorful coral reef.

Pick the "Underground Railroad Package" and you’ll learn how enslaved Black Americans reached freedom against overwhelming odds, when you visit the National Underground Railroad Center.

Benton, TN: Ocoee Mist Farm B&B and Llama Hikes
