"Just toss that wet pool towel in the corner, Jeeves." A whole new class of service has come to Beaches and Sandals resorts, including Butler Service.

New at Beaches: Classic, Signature, and Butler Service

Beaches resorts are always coming up with something new: such as a partnership with Sesame Street.

And "Butch" Stewart has announced that, starting January 2005, his 16 all-inclusive properties will be branded as either Classic or Signature according to different services available.

Part of the amenities on offer-- for guests at the most expensive suites at the 12 resorts in the Signature Collection, and at three Sandals "Classic" properties-- is the service of butlers, trained and certified by the Guild of Professional English Butlers. Actually, the butlers won't be tossing wet towels around. But they will provide in-suite check-in, unpacking and packing luggage, drawing baths and arranging in-suite dining.

Each Signature resort will have other goodies too, such as a five-star restaurant ,champagne breakfasts, and poolside wait service.

Beaches, by the way, is the family brand of the all-inclusive Sandals resorts chain. Click below to read about Beaches resorts. And coming in the future: Beaches in St. Lucia, an $80-million, 300-room property slated for the Signature Collection, and due to begin construction soon.

Beaches Negril and Beaches Turks & Caicos will both be Signature properties.
