Beaches Teams up with Sesame Street

Mom, is that Elmo on the waterslide? It just could be, now that the Beaches Resorts have signed a year-long deal with Sesame Street.

It's sure to be a thrill for the preschool set: Elmo, Zoe, Cookie Monster and Grover will soon appear daily at Beaches Resorts' four Caribbean properties. Beaches currently welcomes families at the following resorts, and a new resort will open next year on Jamaica's south coast:

  • Beaches Negril, Jamaica
  • Beaches Boscobel, Jamaica
  • Beaches Turks and Caicos
  • Beaches Sandy Bay
Starting in fall 2004, special family packages and theme weeks will feature Sesame Street character breakfasts, story time, live shows and welcome gifts. At the same time, Beaches Resorts will be the Sesame Street show's on-air sponsor for a year, with ad messages appearing before and after the tv show.

Sesame Street Characters at Beaches Resorts

From September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2005, Zoe, Elmo, Grover, and Cookie Monster will be appearing at all four Beaches Resorts . The characters will shake hands, hug and otherwise thrill little guests, plus there'll be some special activities such as: -parades with Sesame Street characters -baking cookies with Cookie Monster -story time with Elmo -dance classes with Zoe -environmental activities with Grover -"Letter of the Day" -"Sundaes at the Movies"

There'll also be activity corners with books, plush toys, and videos.

-Sesame Street themed accommodations -breakfast with characters -photo op with favorite characters -birthday party celebrations Beaches Boscobel
