Family Vacation Deals: Club Med

Sunday October 5, 2003
Club Med pioneered almost-all-inclusive vacations and is now fully all-inclusive, with some wonderful family resorts; in fact, there's one right in Florida. Read about Seven Nights for Price of Three, Family Escape and other deals.

Club Med Bargains

Club Med has all that you'd expect from an all-inclusive (having recently moved to include alcoholic drinks in its prices.) It also has some unique features. For example, when I visited Club Med Sandpiper, Club Med Sandpiper I was amazed at the kids' programs: separate rooms and programs for 1 year-olds, 2-year-olds, 3-year olds, etc.; and for older kids, the kids programs were more like camps, very active, and full of chances for kids to learn new things-- trapeze, inline-skating, waterskiing...

I was also struck by the extremely friendly ambiance. This is due to a long-standing policy at Club Med that guests and staff (called "gracious Organizers") socialize together. Works great at a family resort! Kids meet staff in the kids' clubs, and then enjoy seeing their new friends at dinner, in the evenings, etc.

Read more about Club Med Sandpiper at TWKids. Then read on, about Club Med deals, below-- Club Med Sandpiper has a "Kids Free" promotion until Oct. 31 2003.
