Club Med Bargains

Club Med has all that you'd expect from an all-inclusive (having recently moved to include alcoholic drinks in its prices.) It also has some unique features. For example, when I visited Club Med Sandpiper, I was amazed at the kids' programs: separate rooms and programs for 1 year-olds, 2-year-olds, 3-year olds, etc.; and for older kids, the kids programs were more like camps, very active, and full of chances for kids to learn new things-- trapeze, inline-skating, waterskiing...

I was also struck by the extremely friendly ambiance. This is due to a long-standing policy at Club Med that guests and staff (called "gracious Organizers") socialize together. Works great at a family resort! Kids meet staff in the kids' clubs, and then enjoy seeing their new friends at dinner, in the evenings, etc.
