Summer Bucket of Savings Promotion Extended

UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS, July 17, 2003 – Commissioner of Tourism Pamela C. Richards is pleased to announce an extension to the booking window for the “USVI Summer Bucket of Savings” promotion. Travelers now have until August 30, 2003, to book the USVI Summer Bucket of Savings promotion through a participating tour operator to enjoy value added vacations until September 30, 2003.
The “Summer Bucket of Savings” promotion features discounted accommodations, including a fifth night free when travelers book a minimum four-night stay at one of the participating hotels and resorts on St. Croix, St. John or St. Thomas. Room rates start as low as $89 per night, and up to two children under age 18 may stay in the same room for free. When visitors check-in, they will receive a bucket filled with a $100 American Express travelers cheque and a coupon booklet full of savings totaling more than $1,000 to be used at local restaurants, tourist attractions, retail stores and other fun venues throughout the islands.
Blackout dates may apply at select properties. This offer cannot be combined with other promotions and is not valid on pre-existing reservations.
